The Apple Menu gives you information about Euro Assistant Pro and lets you register your copy of Euro Assistant Pro. It also lists the desk accessories and the files in the "Apple Menu Items" folder.
 
ΓÇó About Euro Assistant Pro...
Displays the "About Euro Assistant Pro" dialog box, which provides information about the current version of Euro Assistant Pro, about shareware fees and about how to contact MaBaSoft.
By clicking the "Register Online" button in the "About Euro Assistant Pro" box, you can register online your copy of Euro Assistant Pro.
ΓÇó Register Euro Assistant Pro...
Displays the "Register Euro Assistant Pro" dialog box. Type in your serial number and user name exactly as they appear in the MaBaSoft Registration letter and click the "Register" button to register your copy of Euro Assistant Pro.
The "Register Euro Assistant Pro..." command is not displayed if your copy of Euro Assistant Pro is registered.
File Menu
 
The File Menu commands let you configure Euro Assistant Pro, update euro exchange rates, import values from text files and save, export or print the Tape window's content.
 
ΓÇó Language submenu
The Language submenu is available just in the multilingual version of Euro Assistant Pro. It lets you choose the language for menus, windows, dialog and alert boxes (English, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Swedish and Finnish).
If you want to run Euro Assistant Pro in Japanese, you should download the Japanese version of Euro Assistant Pro, which is available at http://www.k-inet.com/MaBaSoft/download.html.
ΓÇó Switch Currency submenu
Lists the Euro Assistant Pro 22 predefined currencies and, if any, your custom currencies (see Defining a Custom Currency) and lets you switch to a different currency in the active display (see Euro Assistant Pro Window).
The active currency is checked in the "Switch Currency" submenu. The currencies which are already listed in the Euro Assistant Pro window are disabled.
ΓÇó Add Currency submenu
Lists the Euro Assistant Pro 22 predefined currencies and, if any, your custom currencies (see Defining a Custom Currency) and lets you add a new display and currency to the Euro Assistant Pro window.
Disabled if 12 currencies are listed in the Euro Assistant Pro window.
ΓÇó Remove Currency
Removes the active display and currency from the Euro Assistant Pro window. Disabled if just two currencies are listed in the Euro Assistant Pro window.
ΓÇó Base Currency submenu
Lists the Euro Assistant Pro 22 predefined currencies and, if any, your custom currencies (see Defining a Custom Currency). It lets you switch to a different base currency (see Base Currency) or change the way exchange rates are displayed in the Rate button and in text clippings obtained by dragging and dropping ISO codes (see Euro Assistant Pro Window).
ΓÇó Currencies...
Opens the "Currencies" dialog box, which gathers all information concerning Euro Assistant Pro's currencies (ISO codes, conversion or exchange rates, rounding, modification dates).
The "Currencies" dialog box lets you edit non-EMU currencies exchange rates, specify roundings and define or delete custom currencies. See also Currencies Dialog Box and Defining a Custom Currency.
ΓÇó Update Rates...
Opens the "Update Rates" dialog box, which lets you update euro exchange rates of non-EMU currencies over the Internet (see Internet Update of Euro Rates).
ΓÇó Show Tape/Hide Tape
Displays or hides the Tape window. See also Tape Window.
ΓÇó Save Tape...
Lets you save the content of the Tape window to a text file. Five different tape formats are available. Disabled if the Tape window is hidden or if it is empty. See also Tape Window.
ΓÇó Page Setup...
Displays the "Page Setup" dialog box and lets you specify the printing format and quality.
ΓÇó Print Tape...
Lets you print the content of the Tape Window. Disabled if the Tape window is hidden or if it is empty. See also Tape Window.
ΓÇó Import...
Lets you specify a text file containing a list of numeric values and an input currency. During importation numeric values are automatically inserted in the input currency's display and converted. At the end of the importation the Euro Assistant Pro window shows the last imported value and the Tape window contains all calculated conversions. ΓÇó Iconize/De-iconize
Lets you iconize or de-iconize the Euro Assistant Pro window. See also Iconizing the Euro Assistant Pro Window.
ΓÇó Quit
Quits Euro Assistant Pro.
Edit Menu
 
The Edit Menu commands enable you to edit the active display's content, to undo the last performed action, to clear and advance the Tape and to edit the Euro Assistant Pro preferences.
 
ΓÇó Undo
Cancels the effect of the last performed action. Disabled if the last action cannot be undone.
ΓÇó Cut
Copies the content of the active display in the Euro Assistant Pro window to the clipboard and zeroes all displays.
ΓÇó Copy
Copies the content of the active display in the Euro Assistant Pro window to the clipboard.
ΓÇó Paste
Copies the content of the clipboard to the active display in the Euro Assistant Pro window and calculates all other displayed currencies' equivalents.
If the clipboard's content is an algebraic expression (e.g. 32+55.5+18*2), Euro Assistant Pro pastes the expression's result (e.g. 123.5) in the active display (see also Calculating and Converting Expressions).
If the clipboard's content is not suitable for being inserted into the active display, zero is pasted.
ΓÇó Clear
Zeroes all displays in the Euro Assistant Pro window.
ΓÇó Clear Tape
Clears the Tape window's content. Disabled if the Tape window is hidden or if it is empty.
ΓÇó Advance Tape
Inserts a blank line in the tape. See also Tape Window.
ΓÇó Preferences...
Opens the "Preferences" dialog box. See also Preferences.
